Bundamba is the type of safe Labor seat that has preferred One Nation to the Greens in recent elections, although One Nation failed to threaten Labor's hold largely because the poorly performing Liberals did not feed them enough preferences. In fact, Bundamba is possibly the worst seat in the state for the Coalition – the Liberal primary vote has not cracked 20 per cent since 1995, and they did not even bother to field a candidate when the seat was created in 1992.
